Season’s Greetings and A Happy New Year!

Another year gone already? Time flies faster than a Blackbird!

Once again it has been a varied year for all of us, and this little corner of the internet is no different.

I unfortunately have not been able to devote as much time as I would have liked to have devoted to my passion of virtual aviation, and much of that has been borne out of the frustrations of MSFS2024.

I began the year with high hopes that my livery creations would be able to be migrated to the new sim seamlessly and I can continue creating new content that has been sitting on my ideas board for years. However, these hopes were crushed quickly by the shambling state of the sim on the back end for developers, especially small studios like mine.

Now do not get me wrong, MSFS2024 overall represents a fantastic step forward in the evolution of home flight simulation, especially with being able to bring on board our Xbox (and soon PlayStation) family. However, the continued roadblocks and shortsightedness of Microsoft’s and Asobo’s attitudes towards smaller developers, has left many of us reeling and unable to continue supporting the hobby that has given us so much joy.

I’m not giving up but coupled with significant life and work changes this year has meant that I have not been able to deliver the updates I promised everyone (and myself) last year. I’m still here, and still grinding away, just not at the pace I wanted to.

Having said that, we did have some successes this year! My Phantom and Tiger liveries were updated for the new sim and some new ones released. For everything else, I am still working on them, but they will take time.

So, thanks again for your support this year and I look forward to seeing you all back in virtual skies again next year!

From our family to you and yours, have a safe and prosperous festive season and a Happy New Year!

Safe Skies!
