Description
Originally White 1 of the Luftwaffe, this aircraft was captured by French Forces in November 1939 before being transported for evaluation in England with the RAF. Assigned serial AE479 the aircraft was extensively tested by the RAE at Farnborough before being shipped to the US in 1942. The aircraft crashed during a test flight and was scrapped at Chanute Field in November 1942.
