Description
The Q200 was an experimental Atmospheric fighter produced by the Shadow Works of Incom as they explored new technology and designs for future combat fighters.
Whilst it never entered series production, a number of examples would find their way into the hands of Rebel Alliance forces following the defection of Incom to the Alliance. They would serve as scouts and air superiority fighters on worlds where there was minimal threat from space support.
The design of the Q2/Q200, like many of Burt Rutan’s designs, just screams science fiction!
And for me when I saw this aircraft I immediately thought of the X-Wing from Star Wars. With a bit of dreaming I even came up with head cannon how it could fit into the universe. So here it is for all to enjoy!
This livery is for the Lionheart Creations Q200 Quickie for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
