FlightSimCon is the largest gathering of aviation and flight simulation enthusiasts held in North America and is back for its fifth year in 2017.
I am really excited to confirm that I will be there attending this year to cover this amazing event. For me it is a great opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts that share my passion for all things aviation.
FlightSimCon brings together some of the biggest names in Flight Simulation development including the team from Orbx, Aerosoft, Just Flight, TFi Design and Quality Wings. See them showcase some of their amazing products and what is coming up in the future.
Beyond just the products it is also about the future of flight simulation, and this year presents a unique opportunity. For the first time a panel will be held to discuss the future with all three of the leading developers – Lockheed Martin (Prepar3D), Laminar Research (X-Plane) and Dovetail Games (FSX: Steam Edition and an upcoming simulator). An exciting and surely heated discussion will ensue!
There is also going to be a range of Flight Simulation personalities present including Jeff Favignano, Catstrator and BelGeode who will be streaming and speaking about their experiences with all of us along with industry insiders like Tom Gauvin and Adam Cybanski.
FlightSimCon is a great event to meet people who share our passion and whom we often only get to interact with online. I hope to see many of you there over the weekend!
