Greetings Aviators!
It has been a while hasn’t it? A LOT has taken place in the time since I last posted here, but I’ve finally found some motivation and love of creating again.
Thanks to some… concerned … members of the community, I’ve been encouraged to pick up the digital brushes again and have renewed my efforts to bring my liveries back to Flight Simulator 2024.
Now, it has NOT been an easy road, and I still am frustrated on an almost daily basis by the ridiculousness of some of the decisions from Asobo and Microsoft; however I have had some success in bringing content into the (not so) new sim.
I am starting with the P-51’s and the T-6’s. They are all receiving an overhaul (and yes this includes fixing the incorrect Dutch markings on the T-6’s!) as well as receiving confirmation of their functionality in MSFS2024. And so far the results look good!
These will be offered, as promised, as free updates to existing owners of these packs from 2020.
Next up after them will be the Super Hornets. And this is where it gets a little tricky for me. Owing to the changes under the hood, these are clean sheet remakes, not just updates. This process is not quick, and I am conflicted about charging for the upgrade vs offering them as a free update as I had always intended. Feel free to post your thoughts in our community Discord!
Video wise, I have some ideas for things I want to do… but they are not flight sim related. With the algorithm the way it is, I cannot turn around the volume nor the type of content that is being pushed these days. The days of detailed, long form content appear to be over 🙁 But if you are a fan of preserving stories, you may be interested in what I have in mind. But that will be under a different brand, so I will talk more about that when the time is right.
